Lingodeer, Practical and Economical Way to Learn Foreign Languages

Hello all friends. How are you in this COVID-19 pandemic situation? Hope you are in good health and always! In this situation full of uncertainty, I would like to ask you guys:

1. Is your 2021 resolution to add skills?

2. Do you want to learn foreign languages but lack of budget, busy working, or do you not have a foreign language course in your city?

If the answer is YES, please read my post below. Hope it's useful for you :)

I wrote this article based on my personal experience.

I don't have any formal education in a foreign language other than English, but I have been dreaming of mastering at least five languages throughout my life (wish me luck!)

I tried to build my dream for a long time. 10 years ago I started buying foreign language books with the aim of being self-taught. Did i fail? YES

This yellow book, which witnessed my dream (at that time) was just merely a dream because I was busy with work, busy playing, and so on.

People say, "Crime can happen because there are INTENTION and CHANCE". Self-taught learning is the same. Intention alone is not enough. In this article I want to share how you can have the CHANCE.

Disclaimer: I ask permission for those of you who are formally studying foreign languages. I'm not talking about teaching the language. I just want to tell you about CHANCE of learning foreign languages.

This article is NOT an endorsement to other people not to learn formal language either. I myself support professional and paid formal foreign language education.

This article is intended for those of you who:

1. Have not earning yet

2. Have no free time

3. There is no course nearby

4. Don't know what foreign language you want to learn

You can get learning OPPORTUNITIES by downloading language applications on IOS / Android. Some are free or paid. You can use the trial first.

Based on my personal experience; By having a language application on a cellphone, we can consistently learn language during breaks, while on the Public Transportation, before going to bed, while lying down, etc. So, it doesn't have to be formal or premeditated. That way, you don't have to be very serious. Whenever you have free time, you can learn a foreign language. Learning can be fun, right?

The FREE application that I think is the starter-friendly and not stingy is.... LingoDeer. This is super recommended. Indeed, at the intermediate level, you will have to pay, but at least the basic level can still be enjoyed for free.

Do you remember the yellow book I mentioned earlier? Now, the subject in the book is all covered for FREE in the LingoDeer application. Yes, you don’t need to pay anything to get same lesson taught in that book.

On the LingoDeer app, users can FREELY access to module 1 (Japanese 1, Chinese1, etc.); while users who have paid will be able to access module 2 and so on.

Well, at least you can do some trial of learning various foreign languages.

Many other applications that haven't done anything yet have asked users to pay too soon. This is what makes LingoDeer so worth trying. You can “test the water” first, before finding out what foreign language is most interesting to you.

LingoDeer's presentment is SOLID and CLEAR. You can finish one lesson in less than 10 minutes, and then there will be a test for every lesson. If you haven't passed, you can't study the next lesson. It's really fun! You will be encouraged to master every single lesson fast.

at the beginning of each subject there are LEARNING TIPS in which LingoDeer explains the theory CONCISELY, accompanied by example sentences so that the theory and its application are CLEARER.

From my personal experience, I have tried other applications, nothing is as concise and clear as LingoDeer.

The learning method is FUN, the pictures are cute, the text is clear, the audio quality is superb. LingoDeer provides listening exercises, writing letters, practicing sentences, grammar corrections. They are all presented with a modern User Interface/User Experience.

at the end of each subject, there is a story-conversation case. The conversations are fascinating yet simple, in which young people's conversations are not so formal. So that we know the difference between formal and casual speaking.

Then there will be a speaking practice following the story, then it will be voted on by other users around the world. There's a ranking. It's awesome!

Well, in the midst of a tight time, you can refresh the lesson using a 5-minute Quiz, or maybe doing some re-memory Vocabulary or Grammar. This is very useful, so that the lessons that had been studied for a long time remains fresh.

That’s all. If you have experience learning a foreign language using a better application, please kindly drop a comment here, thank you for reading to the end.

Stay Safe, Stay Healthy everyone!
